My name is Jacob Park and im 19 years old.
The magic of the school lies deeper than just the curriculum. It’s the community that the students and staff create that makes a Folk High School truly shine.
There is so much variety and diversity, that you will almost never meet the same personality twice. When you live with such a wide range of ideas and expressions, you gain a better understanding of all the life that makes up the world we live in. A greater knowledge of human life will lead to a better understanding of oneself, and our own place in the world.
When you come to a Folk High School you have the opportunity to become your own person in an environment that is completely open and unbiased to all world ideas. If you’re free to be who ever you want, you will really look deep in your consciousness to figure out what it is you want.
The Danish Folk High School system was new for me. Now I have many friends from many countries. I like all classes, subjects and activities. Teachers are very kind and sincere. My English is improved a lot. I would like to say IPC is good place to learning life, languages and at the same time very good place to present your country, nationality and traditions.

I experienced a different education system, I now have many friends from all over the world and I learn more about Africa. I experienced how to live and study with different peoples.
At the Folk High School you experience respect for different cultures and you learn about different cultures as well.
Generally it is a place to feel that you are in an international environment.
